Roof collapse at Grand Mosque work site
29 November 2013MAKKAH — A ceiling near the Grand Mosque’s Al-Omra Gate collapsed on Thursday as the construction crew was doing drilling work on the first floor. No one was injured in the accident. An engineer from the Saudi Binladin Group, the contractor carrying out the project, said the ceiling gave in due to the weight of the rubble.
