THIS LAST EPISODE REMINDED ME THE CLOSURE OF THE DAY,BEFORE WE WENT TO SLEEP (SIRI 14)
After a few weeks only do I enjoyed this piece of agenda of the hostelites.We slept at 10 pm ,similar to the Gurkha Boys.When the bugle of the Gurkha Camp sounded sharp at 10 that was the time the Gurkha Boys Army went to sleep.
The Gurkha Boys were no way……patuh kepada undang2 tentera.
Bila bunyi bugle 10 malam…semua masuk tidor………..berlainan dengan hostel-boys………….mereka juga menunggu bunyi bugel Pak Gurkha.Irama dan lagu semuanya di kepala hotak mereka…….mereka masing2 membunyi ikut nada bugel Pak Gurkha…bising tu adat biasa di asrama.Bila habis bunyi bunyi bugel , pengawas bertugas akan jerit kuat ,”SHUT-UP , OFF ALL-LIGHTS”.Kemudian masok kelambu…..masing buat lena secara otomatik,bunyi zzzzzzzzzzzzz macam P Ramlee buat.
Selepas itu hostelboys ada agenda tersendiri , selalunya curi keluar malam ke Pekan Sungai Petani…….

Some were caught breaking the hostel regulations…….usually punished ……canning and writing penance….
With this post I ended my memories at that early age.There are more memories , but they are not so significant where everyone can share………..these 14 series top the agenda.In case there are incidents which are of value to friends and readers I will publish them, in syaa Allah …
